Tonka Bean (Dipteryx odorata), commonly known as sarrapia or kumaru, is a species of flowering tree in the family Fabaceae. The tree is native to Central America and northern South America. Its seeds are black and wrinkled, and they have a strong fragrance due to their high content of coumarin. Seeds also contain a variety of phytochemicals including isoflavones, diterpene, among others. Tonka Bean is widely used in the perfume industry.
Now, The Green Labs LLC is pleased to offer Tonka Bean Powder from tonka bean trees grown in the Amazon rainforest.
